Adam Jacobs, MD
Recipient of the 2010 George Tiller, MD, Abortion Provider Award
Dr. Jacobs is an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology and of pediatrics at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. He trained in abortion provision with William K. Rashbaum, MD, and went on to establish a rotation in family planning and abortion in the residency program at Mount Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Jacobs has trained more than 60 residents, fellows, and attending physicians in first- and second-trimester abortions.
Anti-abortion government officials and protestors have tried to interfere with Dr. Jacobs’s practice, but he has prevailed, serving his patients and protecting access to abortion.
