California Advocacy Day

PRCH would like to thank the 11 doctors and medical students who made California Advocacy Day a success. After 24 meetings with legislators and their staffs, we added six new cosponsors to legislation that would stop health insurers from charging women more than men. Twelve other legislators requested additional information about the bills. In a meeting with the governor's office, PRCH doctors made the case for the governor to sign the legislation. We're happy to share pictures from the day.
