How Religious Restrictions Affect Healthcare in the United States
PRCH is dedicated to fighting restrictions on reproductive healthcare based on religious doctrine. Established as a response to the growing trend of hospital mergers and resulting restrictions placed on reproductive healthcare delivery, PRCH has tackled state and federal legislation, as well as merger cases, to protect access to reproductive healthcare services and to preserve the doctor-patient decision-making process.
If you are a physician and would like more information on how you can advocate against religious restrictions and refusal clauses, please email prchpolicy@prch.org or call 646-366-1890.
For additional information, see Mergers and You, a physician's guide to religious hospital mergers.
