Dr. Davis on Anti-Abortion Film “October Baby”

Consulting medical director Anne Davis, MD, MPH, published a letter in the New York Times to correct a Times article about the anti-abortion movie October Baby. The reporter misconstrued an Obstetrics & Gynecology paper on failure rates in first-trimester abortions as proof that so-called "abortion survivors" exist. Wrote Dr. Davis, "The mention of the Obstetrics & Gynecology study in an article about the film adds to the confusion surrounding abortion care." Read more here.
