Dr. Parker on Providing Later Abortions

Board member and former Leadership Training Initiative Fellow Willie Parker, MD, MPH, MSc, contributed a personal essay about later abortions to the latest issue of Conscience, the magazine of Catholics for Choice. For Dr. Parker, women who need early and later abortions are equally deserving of safe, compassionate, high-quality medical care. He writes that he “gladly” provides first- and second-trimester abortions in support of women’s “humanity, dignity, and health.” Read the rest of his essay here.
