Act Now to Restore Affordable Birth Control
March 5, 2009
A provision to restore affordable birth control prices sailed through the House of Representatives last week as part of the Omnibus Appropriations bill. But Senator DeMint has filed an amendment to strip the affordable birth control provision from the bill. Call your senators through the Capitol Switchboard at 202-224-3121 and tell them to support the appropriations bill and oppose the DeMint amendment.
Sense and Sexuality
March 5, 2009 PRCH hopes all Sense and Sexuality attendees enjoyed the reception and interactive panel presentation featuring PRCH consulting medical director Anne Davis, MD, MPH, medical student Daniela Diaz, Atsuko Koyama, MD, and Warren Seigel, MD, with moderator Carol Weston. The program addressed parents’ questions about the sexual health concerns surrounding 16- to 26-year-olds and ways to facilitate conversation between parents and their children. We're happy to share pictures from the event.
