PRCH Honors Abortion Providers
June 5, 2012

Last night, PRCH held the 2012 Rashbaum-Tiller Abortion Provider Awards, honoring two physicians who provide outstanding abortion services, one for career-long service and one for serving as an inspiration and advocate early in her career, especially in the face of adversity.

PRCH, the Rashbaum and Tiller families, and guests celebrated the work of Linda Prine, MD (left), recipient of the 2012 William K. Rashbaum, MD, Abortion Provider Award, and Margaret Kini, MD (right), recipient of the 2012 George Tiller, MD, Abortion Provider Award. Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Linda Greenhouse gave the keynote address.
New York City Council Member Jessica Lappin issued a proclamation, on display at the event, commending PRCH and the abortion providers it represents for their service to the city and the field of reproductive health.
