PRCH Fellow Explains Benefits of IUDs

Leadership Training Academy Fellow Sara Pentlicky, MD, MPH, spoke at length about the benefits of copper and hormonal IUDs in an interview with MyHealthNewsDaily. "They take the stress of preventing pregnancy away, which is huge for a lot of women," said Dr. Pentlicky. She noted that IUDs are long-lasting, safe, and highly effective contraceptives.
