PRCH Physician Helps Convince FDA to Approve New EC

After a hearing today, the FDA's Advisory Committee for Reproductive Health Drugs voted unanimously to recommend quick FDA approval for ulipristal acetate, a new form of emergency contraception. Leadership Training Academy alum Sara Imershein, MD, testified before the committee: "We know that more emergency contraception options will improve our care for women."
