PRCH's Testimony for Hearing on Religious Refusal

Board chair Douglas Laube, MD, MEdYesterday the Health Subcommittee of the House of Representatives' Energy and Commerce Committee held a hearing about the new rules requiring insurers to cover contraception in full, specifically the exemption for some faith-based employers. The anti-choice majority, led by Representative Joseph Pitts (R-Penn.), would like to expand that exception.

We submitted written testimony by PRCH board chair Douglas Laube, MD, MEd, with patient stories to show that every woman, no matter where she works, should deserves access to insurance coverage for birth control. RH Reality Check posted Dr. Laube's testimony here.
