Paul Blumenthal has dedicated his career to advancing reproductive rights and health for women globally. His commitment to the development and implementation of innovative approaches to reproductive health is continuously reflected in his role as a physician, educator, researcher, and advocate.

Dr. Blumenthal is currently a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where he has been charged with the development and directorship of the Center for Family Planning Services and Research. He is the director of the newly established Kenneth J. Ryan Residency Training Program at Stanford and also directs the family planning fellowship in the department.
