Position Summary
The Research Coordinator will provide support for a clinical trial that will take place at a New York State licensed Diagnostic and Treatment Center in New York City. The objective of the study is to determine the optimal route of digoxin administration prior to second-trimester surgical abortion. Routine local travel is required.

Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health (PRCH) is a physician-led, national, not-for-profit organization that exists to ensure that all people have the knowledge, access to quality services, and freedom to make their own reproductive health decisions.

PRCH is the voice of pro-choice physicians. We implement effective programs for our physician members in public policy, community organizing, communications, and medical education at the systems, organizational, and individual levels.

With a $2.8 million budget, our staff of 21 works at our headquarters in New York, and in Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.

Reports to:
Director of Education and Research and Principal Investigator

Position Duties include:

  • Facilitates subject enrollment
  • Obtains and keeps records of informed consent forms
  • Administers subject questionnaires
  • Maintains subject charts
  • Inputs subject data and maintains Excel database
  • Provides supervisors with weekly reports of enrollment activities
  • Participates in monthly research meeting with investigators
  • Assists with other related duties, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated skills in data collection
  • Background in clinical trials preferred
  • Computer literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Self-starter with a strong desire to learn
  • Strong written and verbal skills
