Sen. Dianne Feinstein Reads PRCH Physician’s Story in Floor Speech
Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) gave the following speech on December 2, 2009, during floor debate on the Mikulski amendment to the Senate’s health care reform legislation. The amendment would guarantee insurance coverage of preventive health services for women. It passed.
On page 5 of this document, the senator reads a story provided by Physicians for Reproductive Choice and Health from Dr. William Leininger about a patient who died from cervical cancer.
