Tell Congress to Honor Dr. George Tiller

When doctors are murdered for practicing medicine, something has to change. PRCH is working with Rep. Louise Slaughter (D-NY) on a resolution that offers condolences to Dr. Tiller's family and decries the use of violence. But this resolution is only a first step. As Congress works to reform the health care system, they need to remember that reproductive health care is basic health care for women. Tell your Member of Congress to acknowledge Dr. Tiller's death and guarantee access to comprehensive reproductive health care.

Update: The House has acted, passing the resolution 423 to 0. Now it's the Senate's turn. Ask your Senators to honor Dr. Tiller by cosponsoring the Senate resolution introduced by Senators Jeanne Shaheen, Amy Klobuchar, and Barbara Boxer.
