Tell Congress to Vote No on Later Abortion Ban for DC
July 30, 2012
As soon as tomorrow, the House of Representatives will vote on H.R. 3803, which would ban abortion in the District of Columbia at 20 weeks post-fertilization. This bill lacks adequate exceptions to protect women's health and would deprive patients of safe and legal medical care. Tell your representative to vote no on H.R. 3803!
As our board member Willie Parker, MD, MPH, MSc, wrote in his testimony against the bill, "Politicians should not insert their ideology into the most personal decisions of a woman and her family." Take action! Tell your member of Congress to protect the women of Washington, DC, and vote no on H.R. 3803.

“I provide abortions because I value the life and health of my patients, and because when abortion is not legal, safe, and accessible, women suffer and die.”
