Urge HHS to Return Bush's Parting Gift
March 17, 2009
The Bush administration's conscientious refusal rule limits women's access to abortion, contraception, and sterilization by shielding healthcare workers who refuse to give patients the information and treatment they need. Now President Obama has taken the first step to rescind this rule by starting a 30-day period for public comment. Tell the Department of Health and Human Services to drop the conscientious refusal rule and protect women's health.
